All-inclusive resorts can really help vacationers get the most out of their travel dollars. Today, over 400 hotels in the Caribbean and Mexico are either all-inclusive resorts or offer all inclusive packages. Destinations such as Aruba, Cancun, St. Thomas, and Bahamas have an infrastructure that is well suited to all-inclusive and not all inclusive resorts because there is a wide election of restaurants and amenities for tourism. Jamaica and the Dominican Republic on the other hand don't have the tourism infrastructure in place and are best suited for all inclusive vacations. You'll want to consider carefully before choosing an all inclusive resort. Resorts do vary -- some are designed for couples, some for singles, some for gays and some for families. Some cater to a younger or older crowd. There are also some that offer clothing-optional activities. For obvious reasons, most of those don't allow children under 18.The resorts come in all shapes and sizes. Some include airfare and hotel. Some include airfare, hotel, transfers, and some meals. Others include all meals and activities, but not airfare. Often, purchasing airfare as part of the package can be a better deal than doing so separately, unless you are using frequent flier miles. Many all inclusives have, as part of their program, child-care facilities that are often a resort-within-the-resort for children, a "day camp" that is special and that kids look forward to attending. And many all-inclusive resorts give incredible price breaks to children (they don't drink liquor, after all,) while some even have no charge for children up to 17 sharing their parents' room. What are the advantages of all-inclusive vacation resorts? The security of knowing that one price covers everything, with none of those nasty surprises that can blast a hole in any family's travel budget. All meals, entertainment, activities and sports, as well as airfare and accommodations, are generally included in one price. You can forget your worries about carrying lots of extra cash for expenses, and just sit back and enjoy your vacation. Who should check out an all inclusive? Travelers who are: on a tight budget, traveling with the kids, receiving the trip as a wedding gifts or getting married on the honeymoon. So, is an all inclusive resort right for you?If you are the type of traveler that enjoys sampling all of the local fare, then spending all of your time at an all-inclusive resort is probably not for you. If you like to go somewhere just to relax and not worry about taking out your wallet every couple of hours to pay for food, drinks, or activities, then there's probably an all-inclusive resort that's just right for you. If you like to stay up all night partying and drinking, if you want to take advantage of all the included watersports and activities, if you want to have food and snacks available all day and if you don't want to have to worry about the final bill when you check out, an all-inclusive is definitely a viable option. Some resorts even boast 24-hour room service. All-inclusive resorts can be costly. On the other hand, they can also provide great value. If you are going to a destination where the cost of meals, snacks, liquor and activities are expensive, and your hotel or resort is high-quality with an expensive nightly rate, an all inclusive might end up saving you money. If, on the other hand, you don't drink much, you enjoy lazing on the beach and getting an early nights sleep, you are dieting and choose simple salads for your meals, you would probably be overspending for an all-inclusive resort. Bear in mind the drinks are only the cheap local which are not very strong. On the down side of all-inclusive vacations, some folks get a bit weary of dining in the same restaurant night after night. The resort rooms may be smaller than standard hotel rooms. Some, not all of the all-inclusive resorts provide shows. And some of them have different show every night. Some resorts have kids clubs for the little ones. Kids clubs begin at any hotel at 4 years of age. Nannies or babysitters are extra costs not included in the all-inclusive package. Almost all the allinclusives have activities from beach volleyball to bingo and other games. It's a good idea if you want a cashless vacation in a secured environment, if you are satisfied that the dining options offered will be suitable for your tastes, if you take advantage of the watersports, child-care and bars.If you are adventurous and want to spend your days exploring the country you are visiting and your evenings trying in-town dining options, you would be better off choosing a resort that offers that kind of flexibility instead of an all inclusive. What is usually included in all inclusive vacation package? All meals and drinks, beer, wine, premium liquor and tipping, government taxes, gratuities, entertainment, activities and sports, as well as airfare and accommodations, are generally included in one price. Airfare and hotel transfers are optional when buying all inclusive package. Tipping is not allowed. One benefit of the all-inclusive resort is that the single up-front price covers unlimited activities.Phone calls and items purchased at the gift shop are included. The more expensive all-inclusive resorts is going to have the nice sit-down restaurants. The next step down will have all buffet dining. Tennis and squash courts may be free and often night-lit courts at no charge, but bring your rackets, as you'll probably have to pay to rent them. Most packages do not include golfing fees. In most cases you have to rent a golf cart, but compared to the price of play on most courses, that cost is negligible. Sailing craft are free as often as not. Snorkels, masks and fins are usually free, but may have a time limit (note: bring masks from home if you can, keeping in mind that the one-size-fits-all variety is often useless on little faces, leaving kids to snorkel miserably with a face-full of salt water). On-property snorkeling is free, but the most interesting underwater sights are usually somewhere else. The latter will cost you, if not for the snorkeling itself, then for the transportation to get there and back. With motorized sports costs can climb upwards of $60 an hour. Parasailing is another costly venture. Divers, too, might find an all-inclusive cost-effective. Tanks! have to be paid for separately, but diving excursions are included in some of these resorts. If you are not certified, most resorts offer a "resort certification" which will allow you to go on closely supervised guided dives. A resort certification is a great introduction to the sport. If, however, you are already a certified diver, some resorts, such as Sandals, Beaches, and Gala Resorts, offer one or two tank dives a day in their all-inclusive packages. Many all inclusive resorts offer spa treatments as part of their packages, with the option of paying for more intensive therapies. Do not forget to budget extra cash for some excursions that weren't included in all inclusive package. A swim with the dolphins, for example, runs about $100 per person -- more than small change if you're traveling with a family of four. Consider carefully these additional factors before purchasing an all inclusive vacation package.Price is often relative to quality. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. However, sometimes it's possible to get an amazing and legitimate deal, as long as you're looking in the right places - Apple Vacations, Funjet Vacations, TNT Vacations and numerous smaller wholesalers.Look for deals. Check websites for details. Check to see what's included in the price, so you don't incur any additional costs that you're not prepared to pay for.Organize any visas and travel insurance policies well in advance. Your tour operator and travel agent should advise you on all of these but you should also contact the embassy or consulate of the country you are visiting for information about visas. It is important that you speak with your doctor about the necessary immunizations for the areas you are traveling to. When you're traveling in Mexico, you must take extra care when it comes to drinking water, or fresh beverages that may have tap water added to them. Check ice also - ask if it was made with tap water - it is unlikely that your ice will have been made with tap water; but its worth asking in more rustic establishments and rural areas. Salads can also be dangerous if they have been rinsed with tap water. The rule is - if in doubt, ask first! All main hotels and good restaurants use purified water throughout In order to be eligible for special honeymoon offers and discounts, it's wise to take a copy of your marriage certificate with you as proof that you are on honeymoon. If you are a single parent, or if your partner will not be traveling with you and your children for whatever reason, you must get a notarized letter from the absent parent, giving consent for the child or children to be traveling with one parent absent. If you are estranged from your partner, and you are the legal guardian of your child / children, you can take a copy of the court order (note: original only - no copies!) with you and this will suffice to get your child or children with you.If you are a widow or widower, you will need to write a letter to explain this and get it, and a copy of the death certificate, notarized and carry both of these documents with you when you travel. If you are under 18 and want to travel without your parents, you will need to carry with you a notarized letter of consent signed by both parents. If you are a lone parent or will be traveling with your children but without your partner, or under 18 traveling alone, get the required paperwork together before you leave. Airlines are now refusing to board lone parents and children and children traveling unaccompanied without this notarized letter of consent. Many hotels in Mexico set age restrictions during spring break. Here's an example of many hotel Spring Break policy:Hotel will accept individual and student group bookings.A refundable deposit of $200 per person and credit card are required at time of check in.Any credit cards used must be issued in guest's name.Guests may be required to sign an agreement/list of rules at check in.At least one person per room must satisfy the minimum age requirement for check in for individual student bookings. At least one adult for every 20 students is required for student group bookings. If you or someone in your party is confined to a wheelchair, you'll want to explore accessibility issues very carefully. Ask your travel agent specific questions that may concern you.Always have a way out. Ask about cancellation policies, and look into travel insurance, especially if you are booking through an online agency. Choose wisely and make sure the resort's amenities and programs fit your lifestyle and character, and you'll have the time of your life! Here's some examples of deals:Apple Vacations "Sizzlin Specials" - http://www.applevacations.com/servlet/SiteController/specials/specials1.jsp andFunjet Vacations "Hot Deals" - http://www.funjet.com/hotdeals/TNT Vacations "Special Deals" - http://ww2.tntvacations.com/SpecialDealsMore detailed information about over 400 all inclusive hotels in the Caribbean and Mexico could be found at http://www.sunvacations.org and http://www.iberostar.info.This all inclusive vacations directory, which consists of 36 main sections arranged alphabetically by destination for quick and easy access, consolidates all inclusive resort information not previously available from any other single source.
Have you unintentionally set your business up for failure? No one sets out to fail! Most business owners read all thestatistics (maybe more than once) before they open theirdoors. Many know the reasons why businesses fail. But somebusinesses operate under this paradigm: "failure can neverhappen to me because I know better." Is that you? What most business owners miss is looking at the reasons forbusiness failure and turning them into action steps to helpovercome the odds of failure. How do I know? I once thoughtI knew better, too!Bear in mind that even "adolescent" businesses fail.According to the SBA statistics, 90% of small businessesfail within the first five years. Many businesses aren'tproducing enough income because the business owners aren't"business wise." They may be excellent at a specific task -consulting, programming, massage therapy, web site design, copywriting, etc. Or they have a great product. But wiseabout the "business" of business, they are not!In the past five years of my business, not one client(including those who have been in business for more than 10years) provided me with a business plan to review. Not one!Two of 100 clients have had marketing plans, but marketingplans don't work without a business plan and other focustype tools, too. The other common (95%!) mistake I see (andhelp my clients correct) is pricing their services very lowas a way to gain market share and new clients. So low, infact, that a potential buyer will perceive the service orproduct as being cheap and of low quality, even when theprovider offers years of expertise. NO ONE wants to hire abusiness that is cheap! Inexpensive - yes; affordable - yes;cheap - no, no, no!The most common problems business owners experience stemfrom simple functions like streamlining, organizing, information resourcing, marketing, planning, visioning, languaging, communication, technology and ecommerce.Example: If you know that most businesses fail because theydon't have a usable business plan, develop your own businessand marketing plans and use them daily; don't create onethat gathers dust on a shelf. I use the One Page BusinessPlan Book or Interactive CD by Jim Horan. It helps businessowners create very realistic, focused, and well thought-outbusiness and marketing plans, including scorecards to helpyou anticipate and avoid business problems.Example 1: Recently, a client turned down an opportunity toteach computer classes on a subject she could easily teach.Using teaching to market her business is on her marketingplan. So why not? Well, the proposed classes weren't goingto help her get business for her primary business, theyweren't going to attract her ideal client, and the pay wasmuch lower than her usual hourly rate. She felt confidentabout declining the offer. Of course, that same week, othernew business - the type she really wanted - came her way!Example 2: New client knows she wants to create a businessplan. She also has a strategy of increasing her income byjoining four organizations with networking opportunities forher to meet her ideal clients. She joins the first twogroups - total cost: $400.As she starts her business foundation work, which includesthe One Page Business Plan, she realizes that her idealclient isn't whom she originally thought it was! Someclients might be found in the two groups she's alreadyjoined, but not her ideal clients. As a new business owner, she wants to spend her time around her ideal clients, firstand foremost. Planning just a little more for her businesswould have saved her $400 in membership fees. What other simple things can you do to build a solidbusiness foundation?? Use a one-page plan daily to create your to-do list and monitor your business.? Create an Ideal Client Profile and Elevator Speech and define a niche for your business.? Read one of the "E-myth Revisited" books by Michael Gerber.? Go with your strengths. Hire individuals whose strengths ARE your weaknesses to "fill in the gaps."? Remember that there is no need to repeat the SAME mistakes others have made.? Know what your business exit strategy will be.Most business owners don't know what they don't know. Getassistance by hiring non-biased professionals who help yourealign with your vision, create plans and financialscorecards to monitor your business. Look for someone whocan suggest resources to help you and your business grow.Someone who's been in your shoes and succeeded. Startlooking at how having a partner - a business consultant, coach, counselor, strategist, organizer or planner - canhelp you grow your business.Ready to learn more about business success? Take a look atthe articles I found on business failure that are postedbelow, (http://www.coachmaria.com/articles/succeed.html).Learn to overcome the costly (both in money and your time)errors that other business owners have already made. Giveyour business a fighting chance to continue to succeed.? 2004 Maria Marsala, is a business builder who helpswomen-owned service businesses increase their bottom linein less time.

New businesses can now let their customers contact them for free or inexpensively with the use of Voice over IP telephony, without having to lease the ever more expensive toll free numbers offered by many telecoms companies around the world. With Voice over IP telephony, local numbers can be setup in scores of towns and cities across a country at relatively low costs. These can then connect to a central Voice over IP service provider, which will allow free or low rate calls to you from your customers.Internet telephony or Voice over IP as it is more commonly known has been hailed as the next big thing in the telecommunications world for quite some time. In the past it has been plagued with poor sound and connection quality, as well as complex and frustrating installations. With huge advances in Voice over IP technology in the last few years, you no longer have to sit at your computer in order to make a phone call over the Internet using Voice over IP. It is now possible to use an ordinary phone, connected to a Voice over IP adaptor (gateway). Some specialised Voice over IP phones (IP phones) have this technology built into their circuitry, effectively allowing you to plug and play.Voice over IP splits your voice into Internet Protocol Data Packets. These packets are then routed over the Internet. This makes it a lot cheaper for Voice over IP service providers to carry your calls. Using this method Voice over IP service providers only have to pay a small termination fee at the point where they drop your call off. This in turn make Voice over IP extremely cost effective for those companies who cannot afford the high costs associated with those of toll free numbers. It would then become possible for example to rent phone numbers in major cities across a country at cheap rates, and people in these cities would then be able to talk to you for just the cost of a local call.In the past few years Voice over IP has matured and is fast becoming the way to make cheap rate calls both nationally and internationally. In fact most major telecoms companies around the world, are now gearing up to charge us for the amount of data sent or received, as opposed to the length of call time. Many businesses are taking early advantage of the huge cost savings for them and their customers, through the implementation of Voice over IP telephony..

The phone would simply not stop ringing, and the email was overwhelming. The HTML was written, the pages were formed, and the site was FTPd. It then took less than 2 hours for David Lawrence, the founder and lead podcast designer for PodcastDesign.com (http://www.podcastdesign.com), to sign his first client, and less than 2 days to sign 5 more."Podcasting has the kind of heat that surrounded blogging, streaming, Napster and Google. Everyone's hearing about it, but not everyone knows what it is, or how podcasting might help their business strategy. Putting a sound and personality to any organization via a podcast is an amazingly sticky way to humanize your image and instantly connect with your customers. My job is to help my clients create the podcast that's right for them."Why podcasting? And why now? "It's the right time and the right medium, and the audience loves the convenience," said Lawrence, from his Los Angeles studios. "Bandwidth is cheap, inexpensive recording equipment delivers amazing results, and iPods are revolutionizing an already TiVO- and Replay-hungry society. Audio on demand, and the entertainment and information it can bring, is becoming a standard channel, displacing radio, TV and print."PodcastDesign.com can create everything from a full blown studio designed for your podcasting style, to portable systems that allow you to podcast from anywhere, to no-muss, no-fuss podcasts, designed from the ground up specifically for your organization and it's message. "Imagine a turnkey custom podcast series, where you instantly become the star of your own podcasts and you do nothing more than make a simple phone call," Lawrence said. "I produce the structure, with themes, effects, voiced intros, even jingles, using your creative or our production house, and I act as the moderator - serving up questions you're ready to answer as the guest I'm interviewing. This takes the EPK to the next level."It doesn't end with the audio - it's got to reach your audience, and PodcastDesign.com works with the client's web management team to integrate the podcast into the client's overall web strategy, or simply hosts the podcast on the PodcastDesign servers. Lawrence commented, "I'm doing 5 minute podcasts, hour long podcasts, daily, weekly, on-demand, highly produced, simple voice - it's never the same thing twice. And I love it.
IMO, these sd work 'like a VCR' as far as recording and playback. There are models w/ harddrives, VHS players, etc. built in, but to me that's overboard.Bells and WhistlesThe VHS option is not bad, but you most likely already have one you can plug into the inputs of the DVD recorder.I have a DVD recorder for archiving TiVo shows as opposed to accessing my TiVo from my PC. This is nice because it means I can also archive VHS tapes, camcorder tapes, etc. w/no extra work.I do have a TV card in my PC so I can do this, but using the DVD recorder is easier. My motto is: buy what you WILL use and not what you CAN use.I've bought lots of things that CAN do a lot, but in reality I don't use all the extra features. Not in all cases, but in this case, I say pass on the bells and whistles.Again, there are models w/ all types of features, but if you buy one that is a DVR, DVD recorder, VCR, TV tuner all in one and one part breaks, it's all broke.Realize Something About TechnologyRemember - this is new technology and will only get better and cheaper. If you buy the top of the line today, it's going to be out of date and/or cheap tomorrow. Test the waters w/ a 'good' model and upgrade when the time is right.Editing Your RecordingsChances are - you won't. It's a pain for the most part and usually requires DVD-RAM or DVD-RW discs to do it and they're more expensive. If you have a lot of free time for this, you're a rare person.I was looking for this type of solution in getting ready for having a baby and I knew I wasn't going to be sifting through and editing hours of video. If you're really interested in editing, look in to PC options. Pinnacle, ArcSoft, Adobe, etc. - they have good solutions for that.DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RAM, DVD-RWDVD+R and DVD-R are like VHS and Beta: they're both ok right now, but eventually we'll probably land on one or the other. It seems to be leaning towards DVD-R which tend to be less expensive also. Many recorders and players do both, but cost more. I say save some money, pick one (probably DVD-R) and move on. If you pick the wrong one, chances are in a couple years you'll be buying a new one anyway. Moreover, you'll probably be able to get a cheap one w/ a built in converter or two trays to duplicate one to the other.DVD-RAM and DVD-RW are the rewritable types. They're more expensive and for my purposes aren't worth worrying about. My RecommendationI got the Panasonic DMR-E55K:It records to DVD-R like a VCR. I don't use it to record live TV so I don't use VCR+, but it has it. Also, it has TimeSlip which lets you watch something while it's recording (start recording "24" at 8pm and start watching it from the begining at 8:20 to speed thru commercials like a TiVo). Again, I don't use this, but it has it.Plain and simple, it records my TiVo, camcorder, digital camera (RCA cable output), VCR, etc. to DVD - that's what I want it to do and that's what it does. It's easy, creates a good menu w/ thumbnails and my chosen titles, it's a name brand w/ good reviews and was fairly cheap (there was a rebate at the time). Also, it plays CDs and mp3 CDs w/ a good interface so not only does it replace a CD player, but since you can put so many songs on one CD, it replaces a CD changer. An interesting trick: If you have a digital camera w/ RCA cable output, you can hook it directly into the dvd recorder and create a quick slide-show dvd. Many cameras even have a slide show function built in! You can use the sound from a music channel, CD, etc.SummaryIf you're going gung-ho into all the nitty gritty about DVD recorders, you're either just starting here or haven't bothered to read this far. If you're looking for a good, relatively cheap solution to digitize your tapes, archive TiVo, etc., I recommend the Panasonic DMR-E55K..

Every device needs a driving force to operate, just as every living thing needs a heart to keep it alive! Basically electric power does this job for any kind of devices nowadays. Similarly for any digital camera too, a good battery is necessary in order to ensure an excellent performance from it as long as possible. Being such a crucial task as if searching for a good heart for a human being, perhaps the most tedious thing about digital cameras is the quest for their battery consumption and thereby finding a suitable one for any particular one. Yet a basic overview regarding this so important component of a digital camera makes the ventures of the users somewhat less complicated and makes life easier with a proper selection of the battery!Leaving aside the ever power thirsty LCD screens and flashes, the digital cameras themselves exhaust batteries much faster than film cameras, due to their state of the art electronic designs and intricate circuitry. Many digital cameras run from AA cells, around 4, and can even drain a set of alkaline cells in less than 1 hour of working! For example, the Kodak DC120 draws about 210mA during start or switch ON, but progresses to around 1.3A with the association of the LCD fully working and can go ahead to about 2.1A while picture taking and after it too. With all these nightmares regarding the batteries of the digital cameras, it is worthwhile to analyze and reveal some of the available batteries for the digital cameras in an effort to explore area of power consumption in this fantastic device. Coming to first one of these, like its great name suggests, it is the Li-ion (Lithium Ion). It is one of the latest cell types available to digital camera users. This has many advantages to its credit. It is light in weight and currently available for many commercial uses and thus being so the Li-ion (Lithium Ion) battery type is becoming quite popular. This has an added advantage of being able to endow with more power than any of the other main cell types available. It is also free from the problems of memory effect, hat some battery types do have, and maintenance is least in this type of battery. These are but real goodies about this Li-ion (Lithium Ion) battery. Yet it has one major disadvantage, that is, the price is usually significantly higher than conventional batteries, due to its sophisticated design and technology.Coming to the next one in the line, the NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride). This is a battery that is perhaps the most frequently under use for not only digital cameras, but also for other sophisticated devices like laptop computers! This has the advantage of being cheap in price due to the fact that it incurs cheap manufacturing costs, and thus a choice for many users! But this does have the problems of memory effect, and much more maintenance and care is required while handling this kind of battery.Another such battery is the NiCAD (Nickel Cadmium) Battery. This is perhaps belonging to one of the older cell types generally available for older laptops and electronic devices. These batteries or cells have an aptitude for handling high power loads, and therefore is more frequently found in handy power tools and devices that require more amounts power to work efficiently and perfectly. Yet again, these batteries too have the problems of memory effect, and much more maintenance and care is required while handling this kind of battery. Apart from the different batteries themselves, the selection should be based upon the charging techniques and the different charges available for all these digital camera batteries. Latest batteries come handy with charging free techniques too! So care needs to be taken in this area also, depending upon the requirements of the user. With all the vivid conversation regarding the hearts of the digital cameras, their batteries, it is expected for every person going through the lines to have grabbed a significant amount of information in dealing with the intricacies of the purchase, and thereby also augment the ability of the person in using such a sophisticated device as a digital camera with a proper battery!By Jakob Jellinghttp://www.snapjunky.com.

Ever thought about putting your refilling talent to work for you? I'm not talking about starting an inkjet refilling business, however, there's nothing stopping you from doing that. What I mean is if you enjoy refilling inkjet cartridges there are ways that you can sell them and make some money without a whole lot of effort. Many people think that a refilling business is the type that people bring you their cartridges, you refill them, and they pay you and leave. That's the hard way to do it. A much easier way is to obtain empty cartridges, refill them and sell them. The trick is where to get the empties so you don't go broke in the process. Another thing to realize is you only want to refill cartridges that have print heads on them. Most HP and Lexmark cartridges fall into that category. Most Canons and all Epson's won't.The easiest place to sell your cartridges is on eBay. You can also sell them to your friends, neighbors and work associates. If you sell them on eBay you could include in your ad that you buy empties. Offer $1.00 per empty and stipulate that they must be virgin cartridges, never before refilled. Another place to get your empties is empties.com. You can also make up some fliers and pass them out to local business' offering to buy their empty cartridges. So many companies throw them away and would gladly sell them to you cheap. You don't need a lot of expensive tools to get started. A couple refill kits will pay for themselves rather quickly. If you specialize in a few types of cartridges you won't have to buy a lot of supplies. Popular cartridges like HP C6578 and HP 51645A, HP 6656, HP 6657, Lexmark 12A1970 and 12A1980, 10N0016 and 10N0026.You will also need boxes and cartridge clips or just use print head sealing tape. These are pretty cheap and you can find them on the internet. If you have a printer that fits a popular cartridge you can use it to test your cartridges before selling them. You can buy printers on eBay for pennies on the dollar for testing machines. Don't forget the other auctions like Yahoo, Ubid and Amazon for buying printers. Actually you might get a better deal buying a printer on the smaller auctions. Price your cartridges about 25% below retail or use the prices from our web site. There's plenty of business to go around so what are you waiting for? There's not enough room here to go into complete detail but if you want more information take a look at Matt Eve's book on starting a refilling business:http://atlascopy.com/cartridge-refilling-business.htm.

Good Homes Under $50,000?My wife Ana and I found cheap homes for sale all over during a seven-week cross-country trip, and we even bought one in a pretty little town in the mountains of western Montana. We paid $17,500, spent almost $2000 to fix it up the way we liked it, and lived there for several months before selling it for $28,000. You can see a photo of our little pink house on our website http://www.HousesUnderFiftyThousand.com. This wasn't a fluke. There really are great towns where you can still find cheap homes for sale.Cheap Homes, Nice Town: An ExampleIn Anaconda, Montana you can fish for trout, go to a three-dollar-movie in a beautiful old art-deco theatre (named the 5th most beautiful theater in the U.S., according to the Smithsonian), drop some nickles in a slot machine (a dozen casinos), eat at a fine restaurant, stop by the bar for a dollar beer, and buy a house for less than $30,000 - all within a four block area! There are good schools and churches, a library with fast internet service, and wildlife (including bears and mountain goats) a few hundred yards from downtown. Why There Are Cheap Homes For SaleThe reason there are so many cheap homes for sale in Butte and Anaconda, is simple. There aren't many good jobs left. I personally found jobs in Anaconda easily-but not good ones. People left the area in the 80's especially, after the mines and smelters closed. This exodus has left one-in-seven "housing units" in Anaconda vacant, according to the 2000 U.S. census. This has driven down the prices of houses dramatically. Since both towns still have all the basic ammenities, are cleaner now, and are recovering, they are great places to retire to, or to move to if you have an internet or other non-location-based business. The economic situation is the primary reason you can buy a cheap house in many parts of the country. These are towns that have seen troubled times, but are often recovering, and with good reasons. Anaconda, an example we know well, now has a ski resort, a Jack Nicholas golf course, and beautiful scenery. The houses cost four times as much if you go an hour in any direction, and those higher prices are will reach Anaconda eventually. Cheap Houses You Don't Want To BuyOn the other hand, there are towns like that one in South Dakota where we stopped for lunch. The bulletin board had ads for cheap homes for sale, placed there by desperate home-sellers, each trying not to be the last to leave town. There was a photo of a beautiful old five-bedroom farmhouse for $11,000. We looked up the deserted street as we ate, and noticed that most of the buildings were boarded-up. This town was (is) clearly dying, and didn't have anything to help revive it. Inexpensive homes are easy to find here, but I wouldn't take one for free. Cheap Homes For Sale In ParadiseMaybe paradise is too much to expect, but there are many wonderful towns, from Florida to Oregon, where there are cheap homes for sale. So what does a town need in addition to inexpensive houses in order to make our list? Well, the criteria are certainly subjective, but include at least the following: 1. Population between 4,000 and 80,000. 2. A good library. 3. A good grocery store. 4. A movie theatre. 5. Cheap houses: at least six for sale under $50,000.6. The town "feels" good. When we researched and built our website, we broke the towns up into two pages. One is for the towns with houses for sale for less than $50,000. The other is for the towns with really cheap homes for sale - under $30,000! Yes, they are still out there. Using a phone and the internet, searching for your affordable dream home is easier than ever..

Have you ever asked to have your money refunded after buying something online? Do you do this often? What are the reasons you've asked for refunds? Savvy marketers will try to find out why without making you feel you should not have asked. This would be valuable information to them. Anyone selling on the internet should be willing to have a fair and prompt refund policy. To back up their products and claims without hesitation. It is especially important to do with online sales since the transaction is done without being able to "read" the salesperson and operation face to face. Fairness and ethical behavior goes both ways. Due to the fact that online info products and downloadable software are easy to copy and "keep" while also obtaining a refund, the buyer kind of has a special "burden of honor" too. I have asked for refunds when a product was totally misrepresented and poorly done. Inone instance the video and audio courses were sold as being"convenient and viewable anytime and anyplace". Turns out it was a convenience for the marketer since you had to view them from his site, and you guessed it, the site was very, very S-L-O-W.If I buy something costly and you sell me like that, I want to download and OWN it. Another time I went through an ebook that had not been cheap to buy and it just didn't contain too much I didn't already know. I was just about to ask for a refund (and no,I don't do that often, only a few times EVER) when I decided to look again at the ads that made me bite on the offer. The seller had not misrepresentedanything. And his offer and presentation were not "junky". I simply had learned more about the subject than I thought and hadn't realized it. Good for me! The additional value for methen became studying what was very good ad copy. I didn't ask for that refund. A common situation you may find yourself in is not being ready for the level of material you are reading. A little more study at the basic level and perhaps simply putting the material away until you are ready may be the answer. Some advanced topics will not make sense without base knowledge. Due to the vast scope of some subjects it might be hard to cover it in one product or course series. Don't hesitate to ask for a refund if you truly feel the product was misrepresented. Educate that marketer about what you feel was wrong. If they don't improve, they deserve to give all their money back. Just don't be one of those awful people who buys an expensive product KNOWING they are going to ask for a refund. That's the same as stealing and is unethical. If we want the convenience and gratification of being able to immediately download what we have purchased to continue, we can't bleed the online merchants dry. -- Resource Box --This article may be distributed freely on your website, as longas this entire article, including links and this resource boxare unchanged.Copyright 2004 Kim D Regan All Rights Reserved FortuneExpo www.fortuneexpo.com -- -- -- --.
